Liberia CSOs Anti-Corruption Coalition
ABOUT US
Established in 2019 with support from United States Agency for International Development (USAID) through the Legal Professional Development & Anti-Corruption Program (LPAC), LCACC is a conglomeration of registered civil Society organizations aimed at promoting fiscal transparency, grass-root advocacy, public contract monitoring, transparency in natural resource governance, and accountability in local government administration, integrity building and strengthening organizations and anti-corruption activists engagement in the fight against corruption in Liberia.
WHAT WE DO
We develop programs and projects that enhance member’s capacity to improve transparency and accountability in Liberia’s public sector.
Our Core function of the Coalition includes:

Coordination of member activities for effective anti-corruption activities.

Building the capacity of civil society to demand responsive and accountable leadership.

OBJECTIVES
-
To raise the efficiency of CSO control over anti‐corruption reforms in Liberia;

To contribute to the increased anti‐corruption understanding and awareness‐raising in society.

To enhance the watchdog and anti‐corruption capacities of the CSOs.

To provide a platform through which civil society organizations pressure government to be responsible and committed to improving transparency and accountability in service delivery; and fighting corruption in the public sector.

To equip civil society with skills, knowledge, conviction, confidence and methods of effectively fighting corruption.

To increase information sharing and accessibility among the coalition members, strategic allies, the general public on exposure of corruption.
